Over 90 years of experience


On 8 August 1928, Albert Streff established a transportation business under his own name. Even in those early days, the company also specialised in relocations.


The size and geographical location of Luxembourg presented a particular challenge as international mobility increased. Cross-border transportations could only be carried out efficiently with the appropriate knowledge of inter-state rules and regulations (customs, entry and transportation).


On 29 May 1970, Albert Streff decided to retire and sold his company to the Chorus family, who have run the company ever since.


Over the following years, new business divisions and logistics solutions were developed. Protecting the natural environment has always been an important issue for the company's activities, and Streff is committed to its green policy.

1928 - 1970 

Founding and Early Years : The Birth of Streff

8 August 1928 | Albert Streff establishes the company under his family name: "STREFF"

1954 | Streff joins the FIDI.

1970 | Albert Chorus acquires the company.


1973 - 1991 

Expansion and Innovation : Laying the Groundwork

1973 - 1978 | Legal transition to a limited liability company. Relocation to new headquarters in Strassen. Introduction of wooden container storage for furniture.

1985 - 1987 | Development of pallet storage for archives and introduction of swap containers for furniture storage.

1991 | Foundation of the SECURITY STORAGE company and construction of the first security storage facility in Windhof.

1992 - 1998  

Technological Advancements and Recognition : Rising to New Heights

1992 - 1995 | First crane-assisted removal, development of mobile file trolleys, and construction of a container warehouse in Windhof.

1996 - 1998 | Winner of the EUROAWARD. Expansion of crane systems and development of Security Boxes for fragile items.​


2001 - 2007 

Global Innovation and Certifications : Setting New Standards

2001 - 2003 | Construction of world's only multifunction warehouse in Aubange. First FAIM certification in Luxembourg. Expansion of archiving and data carrier destruction capabilities.

2004 - 2007 | Received environmental label "Superdreckskëscht fir Betriber". Accredited as "Professionnel du Secteur Financier". Achieved ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certifications.​

2008 - 2015 

Continued Growth and Future Planning : Building for Tomorrow

2008 | Awarded Prix de la Qualité Luxembourgeois

2014 - 2015 | Initiation and ongoing project of the new Windhof Data Protection building.
